CCHS DECA attends State CDC

Clay-Chalkville High School DECA attended State DECA Career Development Conference (CDC) on February 24-25, 2011 in Montgomery, Alabama.  Eighteen members participated from CCHS.  There were 5 winners in 3 different events.  CCHS had winners in the following events: 2nd place in Community Service Project; 1st place in Business Services Written Event; and 3rd place in Principles of Finance.  They will be attending DECA's International Career Develoment Conference (ICDC) in April.  It will be held in Orlando, Florida.

CCHS DECA visits the Big Apple!

CCHS DECA visited New York City in November 2010.  They attended "The New York Experience", a conference put on by National DECA.  We visited many sites throughout the city as well as attended workshops sponsored by Disney, Dave & Buster's, and several fashion houses.  Not only did 5 CCHS students attend but also 3 parents.
